PCRF-PPPL graduate student receives Program in Plasma Science and Technology support
PCRF-PPPL graduate student Nirbhav S. Chopra has just received a Graduate Support scholarship from the Program in Plasma Science and Technology (PPST)! This funding support will help him further pursue graduate research on low temperature plasmas conducted at PCRF facilities. Nirbhav is working with Dr. Yevgeny Raitses at the PPPL, investigating the plasma physics of electron beam generated E \times B plasmas. The Program in Plasma Science and Technology is part of the School of Engineering and Applied Science (SEAS). It is sponsored by the Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory (PPPL) and provides interdisciplinary support to graduate student research in plasma science and technology and their impact on society. The PPST offers a summer internship program for undergraduates. It is guided by an Executive Committee comprised of faculty from six departments and PPPL.
